Manchester Country Club, managed by Troon Golf, in Bedford, NH, currently has several seasonal Greenskeeper positions open for the 2014 season. A typical season runs from April to November. The essential duties for a Greenskeeper are, but are not limited to: general mowing tasks both walking and sitting, general landscape maintenance using hand held equipment and tools, operation of small machinery, and raking bunkers. The position requires working in inclement conditions such as rain and at times high heat. A full job description will be presented to the applicant at the interview stage. Previous experience in the turf industry or related field is preferred but not required. A valid Driver's License is required. Once the course opens for play this is a 6 day a week position, at 40 hours. Hours are typically in the morning but at certain times of the season overtime is required. A detailed breakdown the work requirements will also be presented to the applicant at the interview stage.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
