Great opportunity to join the Telecom group of Jacobs Engineering. Main responsibilities include installation, commissioning, optimization and integration of telecommunications network hardware and interconnect facilities. The position also works independently with minimal supervision and provides instruction, assistance and guidance to other Technicians as required. Must be able to work overtime to include Saturdays, Sundays and evening hours. Perform other duties as required. Essential functions include:Detailed reporting and record keepingMicrowave path alignment.Microwave installation and commissioning.Wireless BTS installation and commissioning.Ericsson, Nokia RBS certifications in GSM and UMTS technology. DAS installation and testing.Site Master / Anritsu certification.T1 / Fiber testing.Drive testing / data collectionInstallation of RF cables and connectors.Installation of DC power systems including rectifiers and batteries.Installation and testing transport facilities T1 and T3, fiber and microwave.Supervision of other staff as needed. Technician / Technologist diploma.High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 5 years related experience. A valid driver's license with clean driving record.Willing to travel away from home for extended periods of time.Willing to work off normal shifts if needed.Willing to work on cellular towers.Microwave and cellular base station certifications preferredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
