## Description
Position Purpose: Receive and respond to member/customer inquiries via telephone and written correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
Receive and respond to all telephone or written correspondence inquiries from members within established timeframes and policies
Assist members with plan benefits via telephone, in writing, in person or make referral to outreach representative as appropriate
Document in the computer system all members' issues and resolution
Utilize current reference materials to assist and resolve any member inquiries
May coordinate member transportation
## Qualifications
Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Bilingual preferred in some states. 1+ year customer service experience in a call center environment, preferably in a Medicare, Medicaid managed care or insurance environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
